1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar browser storage can remember preferences, maintain secure sessions or support optional measurement. BACOTÉ aims to keep this layer intentionally small.
2. Necessary storage
Session and security mechanisms may be necessary for forms, CSRF protection, rate limiting and preference handling. These are not used to build an advertising profile.
3. Optional analytics
Optional analytics should be loaded only after the visitor grants the relevant consent. If no analytics property is configured, no analytics claim should be made.
4. Advertising and personalization
Advertising and personalization storage is disabled by default in the consent model described by the production architecture. It should only be enabled if BACOTÉ later activates a documented service and obtains the required consent.
5. Consent controls
Visitors can choose necessary-only storage or allow optional analytics when offered. Preferences can be revisited from this page.
6. Third parties
Only third-party technologies actually enabled in the deployed build belong in the final cookie inventory. A vendor appearing in an engineering export is not, by itself, proof that the vendor is active.
7. Managing cookies
Browser settings can delete or block storage, although doing so may affect secure sessions or site preferences.
8. Updates
The cookie inventory should be reviewed whenever GTM, analytics, maps, chat, advertising or other third-party services change.
